eLearning Coach

It is a blog written and maintained by Connie Malamed. It is by far my favorite.  She calls her blog a blogazine. It includes content about e learning design –to include learning objectives and story boarding. She also includes 2.0 mobile learning and cognition. It contains actionable strategies, product reviews to assist with development and understanding of online learning.
The site also includes a bimonthly email newsletter that links articles and a source for downloading her thank you e book called Spilled Ink: Writing for Instructional Design. The site is well organized and is simple to navigate.  This site will definitely be one that I can follow and one that can assist me with updated knowledge and resources as I progress in the ID field.  http://theelearningcoach.com/

It includes knowledge and then actions that meet the goal and includes practice activities. This is a focuses on what the learner must do. I think that this could be a form of more activities, less talk and more focus

The blog includes ideas to help you develop action packed learning lessons mainly for adults.  Cathy is considered an international thought leader. She is described as a fun speaker that facilitates learning. She uses authoring tools and rapid elearning development.

Instructional Design and Development is a WordPress blog from De Paul University. It is a FITS (Faculty Instructional Technology Services and uses faculty and the occasion student to enhance teaching and learning through the use of technology.  I really enjoy this blog in that it is simple, straightforward. It includes a RSS fee and an archive. It is active on a daily basis but the discussion posts are few, having said that it is still a great place for information.
